We have a lot of concerns coming our way with brake systems. With our ever-evolving culture right now, there is a lot less driving going on. Which is okay! With that being said, if you get in your vehicle and your brakes make a noise that’s not so easy on the ears. Don’t be alarmed, sometimes they get a little rusty from sitting especially if it rains or snows. Knowing the difference between when they’re making noise but working well. Rather than making noise and you notice they are NOT working the same.
Typically, your front brake pads will be in need of a replacement before the rear. Since the front carries more of the weight load and has a bigger role in stopping the vehicle. Maybe a small piece of dirt or stone got stuck in there if you have driven on a stone parking lot or construction site. What we don’t want is if that noise doesn’t go away, that’s your brakes letting you know something isn’t right. It may even cause your steering wheel to shake while braking, that’s definitely an indication that something needs to be taken care of. While we recommend regular maintenance, we also know that it may not fit in your lifestyle.
Regularly maintaining your vehicle helps us catch issues before they cause bigger problems or at the dreaded yearly state inspection. We cannot stress enough how important it is for us to make sure that your vehicle is safe to be on the road. With our courtesy shuttle or loaner vehicles, that is if we have one available for you. We can still get you where you need to be while also giving you peace of mind that your vehicle is safe to drive.
