General Repair Technicians

Master-Level General Repair Technician (“A Tech”)

The Master Technician demonstrates proficiency with advanced-level diagnostics, courtesy checks, state inspections and automotive repairs and service. A valid Driver’s License is required. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the Master Mechanic ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. The Master Technician supports the team by offering tips and advice to junior technicians and works to maintain a positive, safe, clean work environment. The Master Tech applies new training and secures all their professional certifications, including ASE certifications A1 - A8 plus L1.

Professional Automotive Experience: Minimum 5 years

General Repair Automotive Technician (“B Tech”)

The General Repair Automotive Technician demonstrates proficiency with basic-level diagnostics, courtesy checks, state inspections and automotive repairs and service. A valid Driver’s License is required. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the Auto Repair Mechanic ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. The General Repair Technician supports the team by sharing ideas and troubleshooting with other technicians and works to maintain a positive, safe, clean work environment. The Automotive Technician applies new training and works toward their professional certifications, including at least 3-6 certifications of the A-series ASEs.

Professional Automotive Experience: Minimum 3 years

General Service Automotive Technician (“C Tech”)

The General Service Automotive Technician is a Junior Technician who is licensed to perform PA State Inspections and Emissions and demonstrates proficiency with courtesy checks, inspections and automotive services. A valid Driver’s License is required. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the General Service Mechanic ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. GS Technicians grow over time into General Repair Automotive Technicians. The GS Technician applies new training and works toward securing their first 2 certifications of the A-series ASEs.

Professional Automotive Experience: Minimum 18 months

Apprentice Technician + Porter

The Apprentice Technician is an entry-level auto repair technician who focuses on assisting the team to keep the work flowing, clean & organize the shop, perform basic lube services and tires, drive for parts or customer shuttle, and do whatever it takes to go above & beyond for our customers. A valid Driver’s License is required. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the Apprentice ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. Over the course of 2 years, the Apprentice Technician will advance to a General Service Automotive Technician position, as they learn the basics and work toward their PA State Inspection and Emissions Certifications. The GS Technician receives foundational online training through the NAPA Apprenticeship Program and guidance from an automotive mentor. At the completion of the 2-year training program, the Apprentice Technician will have earned a professional-quality toolbox stocked with basic auto repair tools… to keep and use as they grow in the automotive industry.

Shop Foreman

As the point person for all things “Shop,” the Shop Foreman works as a liaison between the Sales Team and the Technician Team to assure the shop runs at optimum efficiency and meets promised times. Together, all members of the team seek to put the customer first. The Shop Foreman leads the Technician team as a role model, coach and mentor with a goal of helping technicians grow their diagnostic and mechanical skills. The Foreman acts as a Diagnostic Supervisor and ensures Quality Control by providing a second set of eyes on technicians’ work. Technical Training for the Team (or for individual technicians) is recommended and/or facilitated by the Shop Foreman. The Shop Foreman also participates personally in ongoing automotive training in addition to Management/Leadership training in order to stay current and to develop new skills. A valid Driver’s license is required.

Professional Automotive Experience: Minimum 5 years

Sales Team

Service Manager

The job of the Service Manager is to (1) act as a Senior Service Advisor who participates with the Sales Team in selling work and interacting with customers, and (2) to lead and supervise Service Advisors and Assistant Service Advisors who are interacting or learning to interact with customers. The ultimate goal of the whole Sales Team is to create a positive, memorable customer experience that leads to long-term customer relationships. The Service Manager secures and maintains a C1 Automobile Service Consultant ASE Certification.

Professional Service Experience: Minimum 3 years

Service Advisor

The Service Advisor quickly establishes relationships that inspire in-person, telephone or internet contacts to trust Lee Myles with their vehicle’s service or repair. Based on concerns identified by the customer themselves or by our automotive technicians, the Service Advisor reviews and highlights the technician’s courtesy check and prepares an estimate for the customer. The Service Advisor uses our digital courtesy checks, educational material, maintenance schedules, sales aids and their own growing sales skills to help the customer choose how to invest in their vehicle’s service. The Service Advisor ensures a “WIN-WIN” situation: the customer and the Lee Myles team both have positive outcomes, and the center meets sales and gross-profit-margin goals. The ultimate goal of the whole Sales Team is to create a positive, memorable customer experience which leads to long-term customer relationships and a comfortable living for us all. After at least 1 year experience, the Service Advisor works to secure the C1 Automobile Service Consultant ASE Certification.

Professional Sales Experience: Minimum 1 year

Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative acts as a receptionist, cashier, parts receiver, and occasionally a porter. The CSR may answer phone calls, redirecting the caller to the person best equipped to respond to their needs. A pleasant personality, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to meet changing needs are key qualities of a Customer Service Representative. CSRs who show ability and interest may grow over time to become Service Advisors.

Professional Office or Sales Experience: not required

Transmission Repair Technicians

Transmission Diagnostician

The Transmission Diagnostician demonstrates proficiency with basic and advanced level transmission diagnostics. A valid Driver’s License is required. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the Transmission Diagnostician ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. The Transmission Diagnostician applies new training to stay ahead of the curve with developments in transmission technology and secures their A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle ASE certification.

Professional Transmission Rebuilding Experience: Minimum 5 years

Transmission Rebuilder

The Transmission Rebuilder demonstrates proficiency with basic transmission diagnostics and with restoring failing transmissions to OEM specifications or better. Primary daily tasks include disassembly and cleaning of units, inspection of transmission parts for internal damage, identifying parts needed for repairs and updates, and replacing damaged parts to repair transmissions. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the Transmission Rebuilder ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. The Transmission Rebuilder applies new training to stay ahead of the curve with developments in transmission technology and secures their A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle ASE certification.

Professional Transmission Rebuilding Experience: Minimum 3 years

Transmission Installer

The Transmission Installer demonstrates proficiency with removing and reinstalling transmissions from vehicles. Like all members of the Lee Myles team, the Transmission Installer ensures quality service with minimal comebacks. The Transmission Installer applies new training to stay ahead of the curve with developments in transmission technology and secures their A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle ASE certification.

Professional Automotive Experience: Minimum 1 year

Support Team

Marketing Ambassador

The primary job of the Marketing Ambassador is to cultivate content and mastermind strategies to (1) attract new customers and (2) create online communities. The Marketing Ambassador also makes Outside Sales visits to fleet managers and automotive shops to cultivate mutually-beneficial relationships. In support of the individual Lee Myles locations, the Marketing Ambassador may perform administrative tasks and is cross-trained to fill in to provide Customer Service Support when SAs are on vacation. The ultimate goal of the whole Service Team is to work together to create a positive, memorable customer experience which leads to long-term customer relationships and a comfortable living for us all.

Professional Marketing Experience: not required, but preferred

Bookeeper / Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant demonstrates proficiency in document organization, accounts payable, and bookkeeping. Accurate and timely accounting enables the owners to make educated financial decisions regarding new purchases, hiring needs, employee training needs, and overall operating budget. Consistent organization of paperwork enables the entire team to have access to the records they need exactly when they need them. The Administrative Assistant works directly with the Owners of the organization to assist in whatever capacity is needed.

Professional Office or Bookkeeping Experience: not required, but preferred

Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician attends to the repair and maintenance needs of two or more local Lee Myles locations. A valid Driver’s License is required. Responsibilities may include plumbing repairs, HVAC troubleshooting, grounds maintenance or repair, painting, and maintaining or installing new equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures that the building, equipment, and grounds are well maintained and in good working order. This attention to detail enables us to serve our team well, keep work moving efficiently, and make a great impression on our customers.

Handyman or Professional Facilities Maintenance Experience: 2+ years preferred
